There’s nothing good or bad. It is all about the perception that we have towards those things. Many times, we have certain preconceived notions about things around us. It is essential to understand that we must not only nag around the negative things, instead of try to look at the good or positive side of them.
You must train your mind to look at the better side of things or situations. Every situation might appear to be negative in the beginning but once you change your perception of looking at them, things will appear to be the other side of the coin.
It is fine to take time in achieving something you have a longing for and it is even natural to get bored in the process. They may bore us in the first place but one who trains his mind in the right way will gradually be able to do things in an improvised way.
The sole reason for which we fail to see the good things in life is to start tracking every little progress in your life. Each thing has its better half, all you need is to start finding it. Once you start finding the positivity in things, life will become simpler!
