One day, you will be just a memory for some people, and that’s absolutely true. I didn’t realize until and unless I came up to this age. Rabindranath Tagore rightly quoted, “Life is all about meetings and partings.”
You cannot keep everyone in your life all through the years, nor will everyone stay in your life forever. Just trace back to your own life, and you will be able to get its evidence all by yourself.
We are born to parents, and then we have schools to go to, we make friends out there, have our teachers to guide us along our path, and then we leave the school, move on to high school and then to the university for further studies.
We then move out of our hometown for a job, thereby leaving our parents, have a completely different peer circle, and a new set of life altogether.
Then we get married, start building new relationships, invite new people to our lives, have kids, and then they, too, leave us someday. Hence, the cycle goes on and on.
At the same time, we meet several people along this journey, and thus, it is important to be able to give them memories that are beautiful enough.
When we already know that such people are passing in our life, and we have just a little time to spend with them, it is rather better to be able to settle the things all by ourselves. We should give our best to be a good memory in their lives.
You must acknowledge the fact that it is all up to you how you build their memories by doing good, behaving good with them, and portraying yourself as a really genuine person. You have a limited time to spend with them, just make sure that you give them a memory that’s worth remarkable.
