There are various situations in life where we need to use our head or heart or both. But most people either rely on their mind only or their heart only. It’s important to have a balance and react to situations as they come to us.
A situation might require more empathy, and some might require more logic. Therefore, it is important that we see that our decisions and actions are well thought out.
However, it is often thought that a good head and a good heart is a formidable combination probably because it is rarely found. Even the most seasoned leaders who are supposed to strike the right balance between heart and head often make mistakes and get carried away by emotion.
Some also are too stringent and stick to the logical aspect of a situation. A good head and a good heart together also might have to make tough decisions as the expectations from them also increase. If you have a good heart, then there is a chance that people might take advantage of it and there is a higher chance of them getting hurt.
Keeping a stable head and responding responsibly becomes quite a challenge in some situations. If one is able to actually strike a balance that is near perfect, then that person will indeed be of great use to the society around him or her.
A person who is near perfect might start thinking that they are more powerful and can also adversely affect the society making this combination of a good heart and head a formidable one.
But the reality is that most human beings cannot hold that balance for long and get swayed in either direction and eventually this bit of imperfection is keeping us going.
