In this adage, Michael Jordan simply takes an example out of his life wherein he says that he has missed more than 9000 shots in his career, and he has lost almost 300 games.
More importantly, it was around 26 attempts when he trusted to take the game-winning shot, and then he ended up missing it.
However, at the same time, he does not seem to be nagging around the failures that he has gone through his life, but rather he is thankful to all of them because it is only due to the fact that he had failed so many times, that he did finally succeed in the long run of life.
In life, you probably do not get anything and everything that you wanted the very first attempt and even if you do so, it is only because your luck has been in your favour at that point of time.
However, if you truly want to succeed in the battle of life, you will have to make yourself understand about the significance of these repeated failures.
You will probably have to face a lot of failures, but make sure that you are not letting yourself put down because of those failures.
It is only when you fail, that you know the wrongs that you have done so that you can eliminate those steps from your list and ensure that you are not repeating them anyway. Always focus on giving your best even if you had to fail and ensure that your spirits are not going low.
Always take your defeats in a sporting way, and it is only when you do so, that you will get to know that life is not tough, it is only your perspective that made all the difference.
You will also be able to realize that those failures have taught you the biggest lessons of your life which you never would have understood if you wouldn’t have failed.
Embrace your mistakes and instead of blaming yourself, start taking things sportingly and life will seem to be way simpler and easier before you.
