It is rightly said that the best way by which you can actually predict your future is by creating it. This is stated in a very abstract form, yet has a great notion hidden within it. We waste a huge portion of our time by thinking of things that would probably happen in the future.
This happens because we forget that the future isn’t in our hands. We have no control over things that may happen. It is a time full of uncertainty and we don’t even know what to do, so that we can take actions accordingly. It’s only when things take place that we plan and decide what should be done the next!
In the same way, it is essential to understand that instead of folding our hands and sitting on the couch, worrying about what would happen tomorrow; we can actually move up to the field and start taking our own initiatives.
Maybe, we will fail a thousand times, but that will somewhat save us from our regrets. It is important to understand that life is not always about winning or losing the battle.
At times, it is the lessons that matter! We do not have a time machine to travel to the future and see what would happen then. Thus, stressing ourselves at something that is unpredictable or have no assurance is simply a wastage of time.
Instead of getting carried away by our thoughts of future, we should focus on giving the best of ourselves. We should focus on being the best version of ourselves.
Creating our future is no easy job. It takes a lot of hardship and effort but that at least, saves us from our regrets. Creating the future doesn’t mean chalking it out in the true sense. It simply means that you should focus on doing your best and not waiting for the future to turn things out for you.
Stand up and start focusing on your work. You may end up falling down a hundredth time but that will at least, not stress you down for the future. You will be true to yourself and even if you lose, you take home the lesson that you wouldn’t have got if you had been doing nothing other than just thinking about your future.
